LATEST NEWS - 19TH OCTOBER 2024

AGM - detailed programme now available on the Meetings page. If you haven't booked, please do - it's educational, it's fun and you'll meet colleagues from all over the country, so come along and join us!

CONTRACT ISSUES - the BMA have arranged a special conference 'The SAS Contract - Next Steps' This is being held in London on Saturday 1st December. It is now fully booked, but there are satellite sessions being held at regional centres. Look at the BMA website for locations and bookings.


CURRENT NEWS - 5th September 2024

AGM - the conference programme is now available and will be on the Meetings page of the website shortly. If you're planning to come to the conference, get your applications in as soon as you can. If you're not sure whether you can attend, go for a positive decision now!

CONGRATULATIONS - Juan Ballesteros is moving to a consultant post in Doncaster. This does mean that we'll be needing a new Chairman-elect - information about the nomination and election procedure will be sent out when ready.

THE CONTRACT - You should have read about the ending of negotiations in the popular press as well as the medical press. What is going to happen next?
