Merger Board and information for members of our organisations

British Association for Emergency Medicine and

College of Emergency Medicine

The British Association for Emergency Medicine and The College of Emergency Medicine are set to merge to form one organisation - the College of Emergency Medicine in January 2008. We are applying for a Royal Charter to become a College incorporated by Royal Charter, and the Merger Board, made up of officers of both organisations as well as trainees and Fassgem Representatives are overseeing this work. Updates on progress are posted below from time to time.

Fund raising to purchase an equity share of Churchill House has now stopped. The College of Emergency Medicine is renting the accommodation from the RCoA and has a full and equal share in the educational facilities under the current arrangements.
